Situated on the edge of the CBD, this three storey office building was purpose built for Statistics NZ and is located on Madras Street, Christchurch.  The rebuilt building required initial planning, design, consent and construction to be completed in eight months to allow the client to commence occupation. The total project was completed in less than 12 months from inception.

Originally constructed in 2000, the building was significantly damaged in the Christchurch earthquakes and the building was unoccupied from February 2011.

The Engenium team was engaged to carry out post-earthquake inspections and went on to design and monitor the building repairs. The structural repair works were completed in March 2012 and after receiving a new fit-out, the building was occupied again by May 2012.
