Wigram Air Force Museum,
Restoration Hanger

Opening in 2013, the expansion of the Wigram Air force Museum enhances the current museums capability to display aircraft and provide restoration, conservation and educAtional facilities.  The space can also be used as a conference and event centre.

An impressive 5,900m2, the restoration hanger is a significant increase in the size of the museum. The restoration hanger is constructed predominantly from concrete and steel. A glass façade allows visitors to view the aircraft inside and the flexible free span space accommodates the needs of exhibitions. Overall the updated facility provides educational and functions facilities.
